Dear Menlo Park City Council members,
I am writing to thank you for you leadership in making Menlo Park such a great place to live, work and raise a family.  Over the last several years projects such as the sidewalks and bike lanes on Santa Cruz have improved safety and enjoyment of our city.
Because of this successful projects, I'd encourage you to consider adding sidewalks on Sharon Road, from Alameda de las Pulgas to Altshul.   Many children walk along that path daily to and from La Entrada trying to stay on the side of the road.   Without curbs it feels dangerous, but more so when there are cars parked along the side of the road and the children have go around them (into the road) to continue walking.     It is only one block long, but could have a significant impact on our community.
I hope you can find funds for this project in your budget discussion today.
If there any questions, please feel free to reach out, and thank you again for all your efforts for our city.
