Additional comments re the new restrictions on turns onto Willow

Thank you for the opportunity to elaborate upon my comments of yesterday.
The new restrictions against making right turns onto Willow not only prevent me from getting to 101 south between 3-7 pm, but also they prevent me from getting on 101 north.  I realized this today when attending an event at Upper Laurel for my daughter, and when it was over at 3:10, it struck me that I couldn't easily get back to my office at Marsh/101 without wending my way through city streets.  One reason I rented that space was for its easy access. It is not accessible any more.  I can't even get to Bay Road to turn west because I can't make a right turn on Willow!
I also point out that the restrictions against turning onto Willow were not based on any studies, or data, or information, as far as I can tell.  These restrictions were not submitted for any kind of reasonable public comment period; they were just imposed.  Indeed, the idea for restricting turns onto or from Willow Road dates back to the much-reviled and never-implemented traffic study of 2011.  That document was generated based on an entirely separate set of problems than the Willows face today, and nothing it that document should be revived or used as a basis for handing the problems that Caltrans threw in our lap with the new traffic lights on the overpass.
