reducing/slowing traffic in the Willows

Hi all,
One of my kind neighbors posted a summary of the city council meeting last night wrt traffic in the Willows. It's my understanding that the council voted to mount black and white “No Thru Traffic” signs at various points of entry to the neighborhood.
I just wanted to express that I am very much IN FAVOR of this action. Thank you! Another neighbor had told me that >1000 vehicles traverse our street, Marmona Drive, per day. And I know it's often well in excess of the speed limit. I very much appreciate pro-active action to address the existing problem, as well as the recent increase in traffic due to construction at the 101 interchange. I have young children who bicycle to school, and I am heartened to think that our City Council will act to promote public safety and well being, ahead of potential tragedies!
I look forward to seeing the new signs put up, and I'm hopeful that they will help.
Kind regards,Lisl Shoda276 Marmona Drive
