the ramps to and from U.S. 101
<https://maps.google.com/?q=Willow+Road+%26+101&entry=gmail&source=g>. The
layout of the on- and off-ramps also changed with both of the southbound
ramps connecting to Willow Road on the south side of the street and both of
the northbound ramps connecting to Willow Road on the north side of the

Winter weather preparedness <http://menlopark.org/Blog.aspx?IID=898#item>

The City is prepared for the upcoming winter weather. In September, Public
Works staff and the San Francisquito Joint Powers Authority walked the
length of the San Francisquito Creek. The purpose of the creek walk was to
identify items such as downed trees and other large debris in the channel
that could obstruct flows and pose a threat to public safety during large
winter storm events. This year six downed trees were identified for the
Menlo Park tree crew to cut into smaller pieces, this work...Click to

With the collaboration of the City of Menlo Park Library and the Raising A
Reader Program, the families at the Belle Haven Child Development Center
will receive resources that will help encourage families to develop,

Park Library visits the Center weekly for storytelling to help build
imagination in children as well as promote both language development and
early literacy skills. To continue motivation and bring in the excitement
of books, the Raising A Reader Program supplies...Click to continue

Adding a layer of safety to our playgrounds
<http://menlopark.org/Blog.aspx?IID=897#item>

Public Works maintenance staff routinely inspect the City’s playgrounds for

injury from falls. The woodchips are 100 percent virgin wood designed
specifically for playgrounds and meet the requirements of the American
Society for Testing and Materials...Click to continue
