Mercury Public Affairs and political views

Hello, dear City Council,

I saw that you are considering hiring a firm to represent MP's interests on state and federal level.

I also noticed that some residents are campaigning against Mercury because, allegedly, that firm represented some republican candidates.

I have no interests in politics whatsoever, but I am deeply disturbed to learn that many seem to be opposing this firm's nomination based on their political views rather than merit.

It is unfortunate that we are so divided in this country across the political lines, but making decision based on political preferences increases these divisions even further.

I hope you will make your decision based on your unbiased analysis, and will not be influenced by political agenda of some residents.

Keep in mind that many do not care for political views, but care about the result, but they may not be the most vocal on the block.

Kind regards,

Alex Rabodzey, Menlo Park resident (256 San Clemente Dr)
