Quiet Zones, coming to a city not that far away from us.

Meanwhile, Atherton vice mayor Jim Janz lets us know that Caltrain will build a four-quad gate at one of their two cross streets. That's a major first step for Quiet Zones. It may be that Atherton residents, who want them, will obtain Quiet Zones, but Menlo Park won't. A number of our council members and staff members have argued against them.
We in Menlo Park don't seem to want Quiet Zones. We prefer to wait for grade separations. Good thinking, Menlo Park!
