Honorable Mayor Cohen and Council Members:
Congratulations on becoming Menlo Park's FORTY-SIXTH (46th) Mayor!!
Since incorporation in 1927, when Alfred E. Blake became the City's first Mayor, the City has had a long tradition of excellent representation.
Last night's election and reception marked another historic event symbolizing both the formal process of governance and the informal, warm hospitality that this city has long been know.
I wish you well, and that of the newly elected Mayor Pro Tem Robinson. May the year ahead be filled with much satisfaction for you in the community's collective effort of helping to make Menlo Park one of the BEST CITIES IN AMERICA! Warmest regards, Jim
