Oppose the Stanford Middle Plaza project

Ladies and Gentlemen,
The Stanford Middle Plaza project is not good for Menlo Park. It will
generate a couple of thousand more automobile trips into and out of Menlo
Park. The project does not satisfy Stanford'd own traffic reduction
standards in Santa Clara County. The additional traffic will clog El Camino
Real. Much of the traffic that normally uses El Camino Real will divert
into neighborhoods, endangering children, pets, elderly, everybody. I am
already seeing increased traffic through my neighborhood because of recent
growth. A formerly quiet neighborhood is now noisy.

The project does not satisfy Stanford's own environmental sustainability
standards, which it applies to its campus.

The project does not provide for sufficient payments to Menlo Park in lieu
of taxes.
