Negotiate an equitable deal for Menlo Park residents

Dear Menlo Park City Council,

Stanford's current proposed agreement does not meet Stanford's traffic reduction and monitoring standards in place in Santa Clara County nor does it meet the environmental sustainability standards
of it's own campus. It also does not meet standard payments in lieu of taxes of university host cities (i.e. Harvard provides $4.5 million per year to the City of Cambridge and Yale pays $7.5 million to New Haven).
The proposed $100K per year to the City of Menlo Park is inadequate to offset the impact of local public schools. Please support our City and ensure Stanford meets or exceeds the above standards.
