Dear City Council:
While development of the Stanford Middle Avenue project is proposed and needed are you sure youaren't rushing into the project too fast without considering all facets.   Traffic is at a standstill now andwhat more do you plan to do to ease it with this development looming?  Does this project meet all therequirements that Stanford requires for its' environmental standards or its' traffic reduction and control? But of major concern is how much will the City of Menlo Park gain to receive for its' schools from thisdevelopment?  These questions need to be addressed and answered before a single piece of dirt isdug up for this project.
Also you are rushing into proposing a two story addition to the Menlo Park library that is far from beingneeded or even called for.   Yes it's wonderful to have someone donate a substantial  amount of moneytowards this project but why??   Every visit I make to the library it is not crowded,  busy or lacking anyanything.    Why not use the donated money to expand or build a library over in Belle Haven locationif that is where the need is.  This proposal has not been given sufficient thought but is being rushed toappease one person only.
Please consider these issues with care and thought as they effect a lot of people.
Thank you for your attention and understanding on these matters.
