MPCSD needs to be made whole

Please consider playing hard ball with Stanford and making MPCSD whole in your negotiations on the El Camino project. Every new student costs a lot of money to cover adequately and Stanford DOES NOT need the break. MPCSD is trying to maintain its level of quality education for the children, for the community, for our home values, etc. I know that Stanford University can afford to pay their share and their motivation is about Stanford not our community. They do not need Menlo Park subsidizing their development project. More children will live there than you might guess. With the cost of living so high, very high income families are choosing to live in multi-family dwellings. This hurts the quality of our schools because the school’s funds do not increase with an increase in enrollment.
