No Parking Signs on SCA

The new sidewalks for Santa Cruz Avenue are wonderful. Thank you City
Council for making this possible.

I don't like either red curbs or "no parking" signs in the new
sidewalks, but of the two, I prefer the latter. Red curbs are just too
"gaudy."

Why can't other types of street signs--e.g., bus-stop signs, speed-limit
signs, turn signs, etc--be left in the undeveloped right-of-way area
were they are now? The distance to the vehicle travel lanes has not change.
