Come one, come all!
Please help the Menlo Park Green Ribbon Citizens' Committee celebrate a successful presentation to the City Council last week, culminating months of volunteer effort. ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability also presented its GHG baseline measurement report for Menlo Park. There's much more to be done in the months and years ahead, but lets pause for a moment to celebrate these important milestones and thank the volunteers.

This is a potluck event -- it would be great to hear from you if you able to bring a dish or beverage to share, or are able to contribute funds to the purchase of food or beverage. I've heard from a number of you already -- THANKS!
We'll also be passing the hat -- as a volunteer effort, the GRCC did not receive any city funds, and the volunteers have paid for all expenses (copying, etc., totalling about $1200) out of their own pockets. Craig Lewis committed to $250 -- THANK YOU!! Any amount you can contribute will be much appreciated. No contribution required to attend the event, of course!
