Tentative Agreement Reached with SEIU-UHW

From: Lew, Michele <"Lew,>
Date: Tue, 29 Aug 2017 17:25:14 +0000

Dear City Colleagues:

We are pleased to announce that our hospitals have reached a tentative agreement with SEIU-UHW on a new three-year contract for our SEIU-UHW-represented employees. The tentative agreement is now subject to ratification, and the union has announced that it will schedule the ratification vote to take place on September 8. SEIU-UHW and its bargaining team are unanimously recommending ratification of the tentative agreement.

We also agreed to a contract extension, which means the current contract will not expire before the ratification vote.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions and concerns.
