Menlo Park libraries

Dear City Council Members,

I am writing regarding the Menlo Park libraries and the Arrillaga
offer for money to rebuild the main library.
I am against rebuilding the new library at least until the library in
Belle Haven is expanded to better fit the needs of that portion of
Menlo Park.
The millions of dollars that the City must raise in addition to the
Arrillaga money should instead be raised for Belle Haven. Please don't
continue to abandon the Belle Haven area of Menlo Park.
The main library is perfectly adequate and a great building; it does
not need rebuilding.
We do not need a new main library. What ever money we would raise for
it would be better allocated to other community projects, such as a
library expansion in Belle Haven.
Arrillaga's money is not free - it will cost us millions more to use
his money.
Let Mr Arrillaga walk away; don't let him set the city's agenda. Don't
let HIM decide how to spend my tax dollars.

Thank you.
