City Council,
About a year ago while I was tutoring at Belle Haven Elementary School, I wandered into the Belle Haven Branch of the the Menlo Park Library.  I was surprised at the time to see what a minimal facility it was.  How could the city of Menlo Park put its name on such a site.
It is past time to change this.  Upgrading the Belle Haven Library needs to be a top priority in the world of library services of this city.  Belle Haven is a part of the city and requires similar facilities as the rest of Menlo Park.
The city needs to check with the Arrillaga people to see if the update to the main library can be postponed, or the money can be switched to an improved or new library in Belle Haven.
Please make the Belle Haven Library top priority.
