Park Theatre

Mayor:
My first question is why are the City Council members wasting time on this proposal?
It does not make any sense, any benefit for the City or Menlo Park residences with the exception of Andy Duncan. If Mr. Crittenden wants to remodel the building, sell it or demolish it for something new that is just fine. The City will not support the theatre or it would not have been closed. Look at the Stanford Theatre in Palo Alto.
The present building appears to have little value.
I would not have any problem for a recall of any City Council member who votes for the Duncan proposal.
