No support of sanctuary jurisdiction.

Dear City Council:

I am a resident of Menlo Park and do not support filing an amicus brief for the Santa Clara vs. Trump case. I support the rule of law, and do not believe in the selective enforcement of laws. If we do not like laws, then we should change them, not support the ones we like and ignore the ones we don't. I believe we should not file an amicus brief, nor should we entertain the thought of becoming a sanctuary city. There are consequences for breaking the law, and there are also procedures for entering the country legally, obtaining the appropriate papers and documents for living here legally and for ultimately becoming a citizen. We should neither reward nor give safe haven to those who do not.
