Sanctuary city agenda item

Council members

My wife and I have lived in Menlo Park for over 40 years and have been proud of our city, maybe until now. Our society (country, state and city) are rightfully made of laws that everyone should follow to enable a free society to function properly. Picking and choosing what laws to follow, for any individual, entity or government agency, is not an option, unless we want to disrupt our society and way of life. I don't care who is in the White House, Sacramento, Menlo Park or anywhere else in our country, we need to abide by the laws until and if they are changed.

I adamantly do not approve of Menlo Park using any of our/my money to take a position against current laws. If we have extra money let's put it to positive purposes like city infrastructure.

Also, thank you for your service on behalf of our great city and, hopefully, following all our laws, Dick Wilkolaski
