Roger Reynolds Nursery - Last Chance

Honorable Mayor and Council Members:

Last year the City Council considered preserving a valuable and memorable
property, it being the Carriage Stop located on the former Roger Reynolds
Nursery.

Fortunately it is still at 133 Encinal Avenue affording you an opportunity
to use it in a thoughtful and useful way. There are many possibilities,
but one idea that comes to mind is its use as a Boy Scout / Girl House, much
like is found for over 50 years in Palo Alto.

Helping our youth grow into responsible and caring adults is a goal worth
nurturing and providing resources. Thus, the building could be moved to one
of the City's parks, such as Bayfront, Burgess or Willow Park.

I believe funding is available to move the Carriage Stop at NO COST TO THE
CITY. Is this something of interest?
