Civic Center

Honorable Mayor and Council Members,
The civic center has a Storyboard that is fried. It is no longer readable
and may detract from an otherwise beautiful, award winning civic campus. It
is located between the Administration Building and the Recreation
Building, adjacent to an area known as the Demonstration Garden. It is also near
the fountain area.
Can anything be done? Some options may be:
1) Remove the sign,
2) Repair the sign, or
3) Replace the sign.
Just leaving it there may be doing you and the community a disservice.
Frankly, some may view it as an embarrassment.
There was also a "Take One" box with a very nice tri-fold brochure
explaining what the Demonstration Garden was all about. It was consistent with
the new brochure that an Eagle Scout recently prepared. If the original of
the brochure is available, perhaps it can be reprinted and placed near the
garden area.
Thank you for your consideration. Taking pride in the community is
important and is certainly consistent with the otherwise beautiful civic center
