Dear Sirs and Madam Mayor,
While I like the idea of keeping the Park Theatre architecture
gracing El Camino in Menlo Park, I question the use of public funds
to renovate the theater for the sole use of a private enterprise;
particularly when the funds could be used to upgrade or renovate the
current MP recreation center. The Rec is used by the many -- not the
few. It makes more sense to spend public funds on public benefits,
not private ones.
