Removal of a dozen heritage oaks at VA hospital?

From: domainremoved <Ro>

Hello, I just read a post on Nextdoor that noted the VA hospital would
remove over a dozen huge heritage oaks to accommodate new roads and
recreation areas.

If that is correct, please is there something you can do to stop it? I am
absolutely for development, but not at the expense of that many beautiful
living resources.

Thank you.
