Quiet zone for MP

Dear Council Members,

I understand there has been discussion in regards to implementing a "quiet zone" for Menlo Park.

I certainly hope serious consideration is given to this as it would greatly improve the quality of life and real estate value of so many living near the railroad tracks in Menlo Park.

I understand the appropriate measures could be taken for a very reasonable price of $26,000 +-. And that studies have shown that this has increased the safety on the tracks and lessened liability to the city also.

I am very much in favor of this and look forward to hearing more about the progress of this issue.

Thank you for your time.
