Bike Lanes on ElCamino

To City Council Members:

Re: Bike lanes on ElCamino

1. Bike lanes would make travel hazardous for both bicyclists and
drivers on overtaxed El Camino.

2. With today's distractions (that appear to be multiplying daily),
both bicyclists and drivers are more vulnerable since they ignore the law
and continue to text and use their phones, whether on a bike or in their
car. I see bicyclists and drivers doing both everyday in Menlo Park as they
navigate around. Adding fuel to the fire by constructing bike lanes doesn't
make good sense.

And yes, I don't have a solution myself but an advisory council as suggested
by Lee Duboc is a place to start.

Sincerely, Maureen Brunner
