Alcohol License for The Cockoo's Nest

Dear Council Members,

I support a REJECTION of the liquor license application for The Cuckoo's Nest. To grant a liquor license, along with extending the business hours to 10PM, is extremely intrusive to the close proximity of the residential neighborhood around it--whether that neighborhood is in Palo Alto or Menlo Park. Cities in general--let alone neighboring cities which share a border, as Menlo Park and Palo Alto do in this area-- need to be considerate and respectful of the healthy, tranquil, and safe environment which our South Bay cities offer. Please seriously consider the rights of all residents in this matter. As a resident of Menlo Park, would you like to have an increase in noise until 10PM, smoke billowing into your home and yard, etc. ? These examples would dramatically change your everyday life at your home. Please do not dismiss these concerns, as The Cuckoo's Nest has. I hope that all our Council members will have a more professional and personal point of view when considering this liquor license applica
tion.

Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely.
