Cuckoo's Nest Proposed Alcohol Permit!

Dear Mr. Perata and City Council Members-
My name is Jodi Robbins - and my husband and I live with our 4 children in Linfield Oaks (literally across the street from the Cuckoo's Nest).  I have recently learned of the Cuckoo Nest's intention to obtain an alcohol permit.  Please know that my husband and I are VEHEMENTLY OPPOSED to the Cuckoo's Nest obtaining an alcohol permit for a variety of reasons.
In addition to having serious concerns regarding the impact that an alcohol permit could have on noise levels in our neighborhood and increased traffic/parking on Willow Road - we are extremely concerned that allowing this alcohol permit could negatively impact the value of our home (as I said - I can look out my front door and see the Cuckoo's Nest).
Most importantly - however - is our GRAVE CONCERN for the safety of our children and other children in the neighborhood.  As we all know - whenever alcohol is involved - the risk of driving under the influence drastically increases.  Drunk driving is already a glaring problem...we do not need to exacerbate the problem by putting an establishment that serves alcohol smack dab in the middle of a residential neighborhood!  We need to keep our community safe...I have no doubt that you all agree.
I implore you to seriously consider the disastrous impact that allowing the Cuckoo's Nest to obtain an alcohol permit could have on our community and deny this request.
Best regards,
Jodi Robbins801 Paulson Circle, Menlo Park650-743-5291
