Honorable Mayor and Council Members:

In just two days, the luck of the Irish comes to Menlo Park by way of St. Patrick's Day.

Many activities, events and resources are available throughout the city, two of which you may wish to consider, as follows:

1) The Refuge, 1143 Crane Street, Menlo Park, CA. - lunch and dinner

Providing traditional Corn Beef and Cabbage, Guinness Beer on tap, decorations, music and more will be on hand for those coming to lunch, 11:30 am to 2:30 pm and/or dinner, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

2) Little House, 800 Middle Avenue, Menlo Park, CA - lunch

Also providing traditional Corn Beef and Cabbage, along with a trio of professional musicians promises to be a day to long remember. For more information, go to www.penvol.org/littlehouse.

Throughout the city, one can find vendors providing delicious shamrock cookies and treats, greeting cards, a variety of gifts and more. You might say Menlo Park is in the spirit of the holiday. The original founders of the city, Oliver and McGlynn no doubt would be proud.
