Fwd: Anti-blight ordinance

From: domainremoved <Patti>
Date: Mon, 22 Feb 2016 14:19:23 -0800

Dear Council - this letter inexplicably is not in CCIN.
The untidy Greenheart site, with its leaning fences and trash has been and
remains an affront to our community. Attached is a current view of what it
looks like.

If there is an anti-blight ordinance, please enforce it. If there is not
one, please enact one asap.

Please do something about it. Stanford does a better job with their vacant
property.There really is no excuse.
Patti

Dear Honorable Mayor, City Council, and City Staff,

Please enact and enforce an anti-blight ordinance. Property owners
throughout town - including the City of Menlo Park - blemish our community
with trashy sites, littered sidewalks, grossly deteriorated parking lots,
leaning fences on major thoroughfares, torn or neglected window treatments,
The attached photos are on El Camino Real, but the problems are widespread.
No amount of holiday lighting or promises for the future make up for the
lack of basic tidiness.

There is no excuse for this, especially in a community like ours with
highly valuable property and a large city reserve.

Sincerely,
Patti Fry
