Dear Council Members,
I just read the letter to The Almanac dated Sept. 26, 2007 from Jim
Walton regarding parking. I agree with him that our parking
regulations keep business away from Menlo Park. They should be changed.
I got a ticket for exceeding two hours when having lunch with a
friend and then having my hair cut down town. I now think twice
about spending time shopping downtown. I meet regurally with a group
of friends for brunch and we go to Palo Alto where the parking is
less restrictive. I suggest that three hours is a much more
reasonable time allowance.
