> Dear Cat, Kirsten, Peter, Ray & Rich,
>
> I wanted to write and thank you all for your support of the first annual Taste of the Mountains wine walk event.
>
> I’ve had the chance to visit with just about all of the participating retailers in person since the event and the feedback has been resoundingly positive. All were pleasantly surprised with the overall foot traffic and tenor of the crowd that visited (around 150 people in total) and many of the retailers commented that they have had attendees come back subsequently to shop at their stores. The retailers liked the way the event ‘activated’ Santa Cruz and led people to come into their stores and many heard from attendees that they weren’t familiar with the stores prior to the event.
>
> Many of the attendees commented that it was a great community event that exposed them to local retailers with unique offerings.
>
> I enjoyed working closely with Jim Cogan throughout the process. He was really a great advocate for the event….galvanizing support among the retailers and gaining the critical support from Greenheart that helped underwrite the event. I’m excited to continue to build upon this first successful event to ensure it becomes a tradition in Menlo Park.
>
> Happy Holidays and thank you again.
