Menlo Park needs safe bike routes

My family and I opt to ride bikes throughout town on school days as well as weekends, but at times we are forced to leave our bikes at home as the bike route options are clearly not safe. We urge you to move forward with a plan to provide safe and 'real' bike lanes that kids and adults can use. My kids bike to Oak Knoll, bike to Hillview and soon will be biking to M-A High, but the current bike routes are extremely dangerous.

Traveling our downtown to frequent local business is also extremely unsafe with cars coming and going from parking spaces. The lack of safe and allocated space where bikes can travel without being forced into the car lane and be unsafe is of concern to my families as well as others who leave/work in Menlo Park.

Thank you in advance,
