Chestnut 'parsley' and El Camino bike lanes

1. The parklet on Chestnut is silly. We have numerous lovely parks in Menlo Park, and the lack of parking plus the inability to turn on Chestnut outweigh any advantage of this ‘parklet’. We hope that the trial ends soon, and that it is removed.
2. Trqaffic on El Camino Real through Menlo Park is already a nightmare, and losing a lane would make it worse. Considering the large building projects being considered for both ends of El Camino (in Menlo) adding a bike lane would just send more traffic through our neighborhoods as people try to find there way from RWC to PA, or PA to RWC.

Thank you,

30 + year residents
