Intersection/Stop Sign assistance

I am writing as our intersection is completely useless at Oak Knoll Lane and Oak Avenue. I have seen up to 10 drivers in a row run the signs.

I do believe some of this may be due to trimming needed at a certain residence as the sign is shielded until the driver is right on top of it. Please contact the homeowner, send a crew—imminent domaine it—whatever you can to trim it down. I’ve attached photos for your use.

I had spoken with an officer at MPPD who told me it doesn’t work when they park to cite as the cars see them—perhaps a motorcycle cop in the shade might be more subtle. Either way—something needs to be done. Drivers run it right in front of us as we walk the dog, or take a child to a friends to play—as I can not send my child alone with this risk.
