Hi City Council members,

I am a longtime resident of Menlo Park (15 years running plus another 3
years prior to a relocation for a job 17 years ago).

I firmly agree with Lee that we need to be more fiscally responsible in
decisions such as the hiring of permanent employees and the out of control
costs that pensions bring. Thus, I also firmly agree that we need to look
to outsource as many services as we can without any significant loss of
quality or capability. The truth is that outsourcing will likely increase
quality in most areas (such as the pool services example) -- competition
does that.

Please do what is in the best long term interests of our city.
