RE: Santa Cruz Ave. Buffered Bike Lane Implementation

To be clear, I don't oppose buffered bike lanes on Santa Cruz Ave. I just want to hear the plan in an open meeting. I want the plan to come out of the gate well vetted so there is no rebound effect. I don't even know if church parking has been addressed with the churches and their congregations and if an alternative parking plan has been developed. If you fail to plan you plan to fail.

Dear City Manager McIntyre and Mayor Carlton,

I am requesting the current buffered bike lane pilot, requiring the removal of on street parking on Santa Cruz Avenue, be delayed from it's current start date of May 18th, until such time the pilot plan has been further vetted by the City Council, in a noticed City Council Meeting, with further public comment.

With best regards,
Ray Mueller
