Council Members,
I am not opposed to public transit, but I do not think the Dumbarton
Rail Project has been sufficiently justified by ridership number
projections. I also feel that cost comparisons for alternatives to
rail have not been convincingly explored. Please insist on
understandable and transparent calculations for these numbers before
making any decisions.
Please also protect the quality of life for the many Menlo Park
residents that live close to the proposed railway by insisting that
mitigations to noise and traffic be included in the budgeting.
Thank you,
Steve Wong
