I am told this is the address for sending a communication to city staff.
Assuming this to be the case, as a taxpayer, I urge that staff present a
proposed city budget for 2007-08, i.e., fiscal year 2008, to the City Council at
least a month before any deadline for approval or adoption of the budget by the
Council. Based on my understanding of the complexity of municipal budgets,
it will require not less than a month for council members to analyze and
debate the proposed budget in any meaningful way.
