Dear Council members
I am sending you this email as a concerned citizen
living in Menlo Park. There has been a significant
amount of burglaries and crimes in the Willows
neighborhood in the past few months and I would like
to get more information about the situation.
I also would like to understand how grave the
situation is. For example, I would like to understand
and try to get answers to the following questions:
1. How does the Willows compare to other parts of
Menlo Park in terms of numbers of burglaries and
crimes?
2. How does the city of Menlo Park apply its police
resources?
3. How can we reduce the amount crime and improve the
situation?
4. Any procedures in place currently to try to improve
the situation?
5. Is it possible to have a neighborhood meeting about
this topic so citizens can be educated about the
situation?
