24th and 25th May Warsaw, Poland
About the BESTUFS Conference
The movement of goods in urban areas is well organised by private companies whilst recently European municipalities have started to develop policies to change urban transport towards sustainable solutions.
In this area of tension between established traditional transport structures and the objectives of cleaner, safer and more attractive Cities there are many innovations taking place European wide.
The interest in being informed about interesting solutions and experiences in city logistics is growing.
The BESTUFS Conference will highlight recent innovative examples and will present main development directions and common problems faced as seen by transport operators, public bodies, retailers and domain experts.
The Conference is non-profit and financially supported by the European Commission.
On Friday afternoon we will visit Schenker Distribution centre or Warsaw Distribution centre. Both distribution centres are located outside of the Warsaw city. Delegates of the conference will choose either one distribution centre or the other to visit.
