Dear Council Members
I realize this email will probably arrive too late for consideration at
tonight's meeting, but I wish to strongly caution any rush to action in
making a decision as to how to proceed with the redevelopment of El
Camino Real. There is only one opportunity to "do this right" because
the overall plan is one the City will be living with for the next 30-50
years. It is my firm belief that all proposals should be driven by
citizen/resident input and not special interests of developers,
consultants and our neighboring cities to the North and South.
Please retain the recent campaign promises to keep our City Government
open to transparency and listen to the voice of it's citizens.
Thank you
Penelope Huang
