Dear City Council Members:
I'm writing to ask you to address the persistent flooding problems on
our street, Spruce Ave. At times it gets to be a real mess all along
our block, affecting everybody to one degree or another. I would not
like to be trying to sell my home during those periods; it would have a
big effect on property values. I understand that you are at the point
of making decisions about what to include in your next budget cycle, so
please make it a priority to fix our block as soon as possible. We love
the rural quality (dead end, no sidewalks), but the flooding is a little
too rural.
