Dear City Council and Mayor:

This is a friendly reminder to register for the Cool Commutes Workshop,
a practical half-day event for employers to learn strategies they can
employ to reduce greenhouse gases.

Come hear about ways employers - both large and small - can institute
cost-effective programs to encourage their employees to commute to work
by a variety of alternative means during the half-day Cool Commutes
Workshop on January 31st at Hewlett-Packard in Palo Alto.

Breakout sessions will focus on topics geared towards both employers
with existing programs and those who would like to start a new one such
as effective marketing strategies, doing more for less through strategic
partnerships, and telecommuting programs.

Speakers for the day include transportation demand professionals from
Stanford University, Yahoo!, SRI International, Marvell Semiconductor,
and Clif Bar.

Details are as follows:

DATE: Wednesday, January 31st

TIME: 8:00am to 1:00pm
