Dear Mayor & Council Members of the City of Menlo
Park,
We are the parent of Casa dei Bambini. Our son,
Daniel, is 2.5 years old. He has been attending Casa
dei Bambini since last year. We are so happy to have
him in Casa dei Bambini. Actually, we have
transferred him from another facility which cannot
provide such services that make us feel so secure.
Casa dei Bambini is a very professional childcare
facility that we can tell. They are Association
Montessori Internationale Member and accredited by
NAEYC. They have a rich program including the
traditional Montessori curriculum, music, Spanish,
French as well as Gymnastics lessons for children of
age 2 to 6. The most impression is their snack
serving, they are concern very much about the balance
of nutrition. Besides milk, juice, yogurt, toasts,
muffins, etc, they must include fresh fruit or
vegetable daily. Furthermore, they have an excellent
system in the pick-up & drop-off routines, even though
it locates in the heart of Palo Alto’s commercial
area. This helps the parents & the neighbors a lot.
Casa dei Bambini is also a corporate and active
citizen of the city. The school has participated many
events of the city such as donation of food to Second
Harvest and toys to the less fortune kids. These
programs are not only benefit the needed families, but
the Casa dei Bambini students have chances to share
and contribute to the community and make someone’s day
special, even they are just preschoolers.
That would be good news if Casa dei Bambini can
provide such educational and meaningful services in
the City of Menlo Park, because we know there are
already many existing families in Casa dei Bambini
either living or working in Menlo Park. It is
necessary to them to have such professional childcare
facility near by home or work place. Two years ago,
my wife had a car accident while she was on the way to
pick up our baby. The car was total loss, but thank
God, our baby was not in the car. We are lucky to
find Casa dei Bambini now and we do not need to
commute anymore. What a relief!
Again, we want to state that, for the benefit of Menlo
Park families, please do kindly reconsider your
decision of the school permit for Casa dei Bambini.
Casa dei Bambini is providing not only academic but
also all round of the children development. The
children, the parents and the families need such good
community resource in the City.
Thank you very much for your attention and we look
forward to hearing your favorite reply.
Regards,
Euray Kwong
